Sofia has grown up sooo much in the last month and I am so sad that she is getting so big! I try to enjoy every stage but it seems like it is going so much faster this time. She is already rolling over, everywhere there is no laying her down anywhere with out having hand and an eye on her at all times! Just yesterday she was scooting on her tummy to reach a toy, if she starts crawling I think I will have a nervous breakdown!! Slow down sweet girl. However it has been pretty fun getting out all our old toys that we have saved, she really likes to be in the jumper and the Exersaucer. Its so sweet how good Noah is about sharing all his old toys, he loves to play with her and show her how everything works. I love when the two of them interact together it melts my heart. She really loves him and loves to watch him. I know soon enough she is going to be chasing after him, probably driving him crazy, and I guess in a way I can't wait for that day but for now just stay little my sweet girl.
We are off to great places

Zoo Trip
We love when daddy has a day off during the week, which is usually pretty often these days. It makes for doing things a lot less crowded, but sort of boring too. Well we decided to go to the Sacramento Zoo to have a fun family day, however being a Monday I think the animals had the same idea as everyone else, to be lazy! Most of our zoo trips the animals are pretty lazy, but today was a very lazy day for all of them. I think half of the attractions had no animals in it, and the other half the animals might as well have not been there because they were very boring! The best part of the day was catching the Giraffe encounter, and Noah was so excited to see the Giraffe's (probably because they were moving) so we let him join the fun and feed one of the Giraffe's! I was a little nervous on how my active 2 year old was going to act so close to this huge animal, but he didn't want me to hold him, he wanted to do everything on his own (tear). He did sooo good though, he listened to what the lady was telling him and did it exactly how she asked him too, all by himself! Daddy and I were so impressed. Noah was pretty impressed of himself too and talked about it all day, so I guess that made the whole lazy day worth it. Sofia got in on some actions too with her first visit to the zoo, she found a cute new headband, and she was looking so cute in her zoo outfit! It was a very fun day and we were home in time to get some yummy lunch and have some nice afternoon naps.

Halloween 2013
This year we had two kiddos to dress up, so I decided to make a theme out of it and go with Noah's favorite, Mickey and Minnie! Since my big boy is 2 now wearing the full costume that his Mommy and Momo made for him was just going to be too much for him to handle. We had all the pieces and it was darling for the 5 seconds he let us try it on not even long enough to snap a crying photo oh well, he still looked adorable, and so did sissy in her little Minnie outfit!! Noah wasn't too into Halloween this year, he hated every Halloween decoration he saw, or fake spiders, scary masks or anything scary related to Halloween. Poor kid he would just see something and look at me and say mommy its just pretend, yes it is buddy! We headed downtown to meet up with our friends and tricker treat around while it was still light outside. It was so fun to see all the fun costumes and our group was definitely the cutest! Can't wait for the many years of dressing up and free candy. :)

Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival
To celebrate my dad's actual 50th birthday we decided to join Uncle Anew and Auntie Ara on their annual trip to Half Moon Bay for the pumpkin festival. Well little were we told that really it is a people festival because that is all that we saw was a sea of people, it was PACKED! We left Vacaville at 7am and got their about an hour and a half later thinking we were making great time, um no. Everyone was thinking the same thing, parking was a nightmare, it was cold, there were a ton of cars, people, everywhere! This makes for a stressed out mommy of two with one who is too little to understand and another that is potty training and finding the nearest bathroom and avoiding all the rude people was crazy! But....on a good note besides all the people it was cute, and fun. My big boy had NO accidents, and he waited in every long bathroom line until it was his turn and went potty all day long like a pro! I was so shocked and happy, never even touched the 4 pairs of spare underwear and pants I brought just in case. The whole way up and back my kids were angels. How did I get so lucky?! The festival was pretty cool it had all sorts of different vendors, a parade, yummy pumpkin food, beer, and wine, I think it would be a fun thing to do once the kiddos are older and not potty training. My dad said he had a lot of fun just being with his family, and that he probably didn't need to go back, I agree!! We got back into town picked up daddy and headed over to a birthday party for our niece, stayed for a little bit and then it was off to Merchant & Main for a nice birthday dinner for Papa! I was nervous about the white table cloth, candle lit table with my two very tired kids but again they did soooo good! Sofia slept the whole time, and Noah was occupied with YouTube and his coloring app and of course his favorite Auntie Ara that he didn't cause me any trouble at all! What a busy day!! These 50th Birthday's seem to be going on forever...but my dad is the best and I was so happy to celebrate with him all weekend!

First Kisses
Today we had a very special play date with baby Kolton, JJ's little brother! His mommy needed someone to watch him for the day and since all we were doing is potty training and staying home, I decided to tackle 3 kids for the day. Actually it went really well, luckily both the babes were super easy only a few times did both of them need me at the same time, definitely don't know how anyone with twins ever manages! Noah was a little sad and confused as to why JJ wasn't there too with her brother, but I told him she was at school and that they would play another day! Kolton and Sofia are just 7 weeks apart but Sofia just seems sooo much bigger than him! She is all cheeks, poor girl, apparently she takes after me in that area according to strangers who see her, and always comment about how her cheeks look just like her mommy's! Anyways...Kolton and Sofia had their first little play date and Kolton was giving up some kisses already in the swing...future BF/GF's?!?! Glad we got thru the day with no accidents (yay Noah) and naps for all kiddos, and mommy!

Potty Training!
So this week our house came down with a nasty cold, I was very bummed out when I had to miss out on all our fun activities we do with our friends. But instead of just sitting around at home with a stuffy two year old I decided to make good use of our time and potty train!! Honestly I have been dreading it, procrastinating, and just hoping it was going to happen on its own, ya right. However, it hasn't been so bad. Today would be day 3 and Noah has done so well!! He has gone poop and pee all day in his potty and today he even has taken upon himself to just go right over and sit down with out me having to ask him! All of his naps he has been dry, and at night his diaper is not full, just a little wet!! I am so proud of him, and actually I am proud of myself, I feel so accomplished :) Changing two babes in diapers can be a lot some days, so I am very excited we are now working toward only changing one...yay!! Good job Noah mommy is soooo proud of you!

A Beautiful Wedding!
I absolutely love weddings! Especially when I just get to show up and have fun. My good friend Alyssa was marrying her high school sweet heart and I was so happy I got to share with them their special day. Alyssa and I are friends from high school, but more from volleyball. She is so sweet and her wedding was too. Everything was decorated so cute with pomegranates, hay, burlap and lace, very country chic I loved it! I got some great ideas for my brother and Dara and some for a few weddings we might start having out at the Ranch...exciting! Sofia looked so cute in her little dress and matching headband, and little sweater since it was freezing!! Only bummer of the night was how cold it got when the sun went down, but it didn't stop us from all having a super fun night! Can't wait for all the weddings next year, it is going to be a lot of fun!
