The day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday known to most is the day ever since I can remember we go as a family and get our Chirstmas Tree at Silveyville Christmas tree farm! It is one of my favorite family traditions and I am so glad to be carrying it on with my little family. This year I decided to not black friday shop....best decision ever!! I did not have to deal with horrible traffic, tons of rude people, long lines, and an early wake up time. It was so nice for a change and I don't think I will ever Black Friday shop again because it was so nice not to!! So we all meet at Silveyville, Noah was so excited to run around and see all the fun things at the farm. We had some hot apple cider and popcorn and started walking around looking for the best trees. We usually take our family Christmas pictures here so we are always in matching attire and find a pretty spot to take the picture, this year felt like we took pictures forever, Noah was not too cooperative. It was a little sad with out little brother there it felt a little incomplete, but we know he is having a blast in Spain!! After the picture we fed some ducks, and had a little walnut fight (family tradition started by Andrew of course). We found our tree and actually this year we went with a pre-cut Noble Fir that is beautiful, and well worth every penny, they are definitely not cheap! We had a ride on Santa's Sleigh and Noah loved the free lollipop...and then we loaded up the tree and went out for some yummy pizza. It was a lot of fun, can't wait for next year!! Now the fun of decorating begins.
