This weekend we had our big Qualifier tournament that determines where we place in our league for the season. All week I had been stressing to the girls how important it was to win and how each match counts for our seed overall. Well we started out at seed 100 going in, it all has to do with last year's team finish which sort of sucks considering I didn't coach this age group last year, but those are the rules. We end up moving to seed 80 at the end of Saturday after we had been there for 12 HOURS!!! Talk about a very very long day! My assistant and I drive back to Vacaville from San Jose only to get up and do it all over again! Sunday we have a chance to really move up but my team decides to beat themselves and not show up to play. It was super frustrating all day, and I was so tired and mentally drained! I even had a little scare with the baby in the oven, but luckily I have 3 labor and delivery moms on my team who took excellent care of me, just so happens I was a little over doing it and needed just a little rest and some water. Whew! We ended our 12.5 HOUR day at 8:30pm at night losing of course and moved down two more spots, to an overall finish of 82! Really!! On the drive home I was so exhausted and just so over volleyball I just wanted to go to bed...and that is exactly what I did and I stayed there!!

14 year olds, being 14! At least they were having some fun!
