Ice Cream!

This week Ozzie is off all week which is going to be so nice!! I can't wait to just spend some time with my husband, it seems as though the days just pass and we never can spend that quality time together that I want. So this week I am definitely going to try to soak up as much time together as we can...especially because our 3 year Anniversary is this week, crazy to see all that has happen in 3 short years!

Today after play group we drove up to Davis to pick up a very nice FREE glider that I found on my Facebook deals site...thank you to the kind people who were giving it away! It is in great condition and my parents need a nice glider at their house so I was able to pick it up for them, but now after getting it they might be getting our old one and we might keep this one! We stopped at Ozzie's favorite lunch spot Burgers & Brews for a nice afternoon lunch. Noah was in usual form running all around on the outdoor patio, no nap, and just a ball full of energy...he only stopped to eat some chicken fries and of course dip, his favorite! We looked around at a few houses for sale, I secretly would love to live in Davis but my husband not so much, stopped at a consignment shop and before heading home we went to get some Thrifties ice cream!!! We figured Noah was going to just fall asleep in the car so I just grabbed two cones for Ozzie and I and some yummy cartons to take to my fellow preggo mommy and got one for us and we headed for home. I really wasn't trying to be mean and get Noah nothing I just wanted him to enjoy a nap, but he was so sad when I did not have any ice cream for him that I ended up giving mine to him...he is lucky I love him so much!! He enjoyed it sooo much, he was being so quiet and slurping up every bite, I look back to see him just covered in chocolate ice cream, and at that point I just had to laugh and say oh well at least he is loving it! The car seat, tee-shirt, face and hands can all be cleaned and definitely needed to be after he was done. We pull into the drive way and he is just in ice cream heaven...and no nap, oh well guess it will just be early to bed!
