My dad has season tickets to the A's and every year we get the opportunity to go to some games. I always like to get the ones that have the fireworks because they are the best fireworks ever!! So we were able to get them to start off Father's Day weekend. I was trying to make sure I had everything together for the weekend, and I sort of let the day get away from me and missed the nap time window for Noah so he only got about an hour nap in and I knew that it was going to be a long night for us. Luckily it all worked out...and actually ended up being an awesome night!! We got to the game and had some yummy food, the weather for Oakland was perfect, and my dad's seats are amazingly close. As soon as we sit down a foul ball was hit right in our direction but the guy sitting right next to my dad grabbed it up before we could...dang it! But how exciting, so for the next few outs Noah stood on his chair with his little hands out waiting to catch a ball, it was so cute! There was this cute family of four in front of us all decked out in A's gear with two little boys with baseball gloves, Noah kept trying to get their attention. Well they got the attention of the event coordinators, and in the 3rd inning one of the workers came up to them and said would you guys like to participate in a Monster's University game and be on the big screen in the middle of the 5th inning...ummm yaa!!! So they agreed and my mom and I were soooo excited we are going to be on the big screen too because we are totally going to photo bomb their fame. So the top of the 5th comes and they come down and get them all ready, and the camera man comes down and is talking with all of us telling us we can help too, yessss! He looks at Noah and says wow what a cutie, I definitely knew that meant we were going up on the big screen! So they do whatever they needed to do with the family in front of us and then it was the Noah show!! I am not even joking the camera was on Noah and I for like 10 mins (ok probably like 2 but still...) it felt like forever, every time I looked up at the screen it was me, my mom, and Noah who was putting on a good show for everyone roaring and screaming like a monster...until he got a little scared and covered his ears! Luckily Papa took a picture to capture the moment because it was pretty exciting, I could not believe it...I got so many texts from people I knew that were at the game too and said "omg I saw you!" Ummm ya like everyone in the whole stadium saw us...pretty embarrassing, but pretty awesome at the same time!! We were famous :) Only down side the A's lost, but the Medina's were big winners and the fireworks were amazing, Noah almost made it thru them, I think he is the only kid who can fall asleep during fireworks, but poor guy was super tired! Such a great way to start a fun Father's Day weekend...I mean how many people can say they were on the big screen at a baseball game right?!
