Family Day
With Noah's growing love of trains we heard about a cute little train museum and real train you can ride out in Suisun. Daddy had the whole weekend off amazing, so we took advantage and planned a fun family day out to see the trains. The place was sort of out in the middle of no where and I had no idea even existed, we bought our train tickets and played around with some fun train toys before our train left. Noah loved all the trains of course and was excited to see the big ones on the tracks. As we boarded the train he wasn't too sure about it, the trains were really loud and I think he got a little scared because he did not want to leave my lap at all! As soon as the train took off he was ready to be all done...sort of too bad because it was about a 40 min ride there and back! He just kept saying "all done train" and we told him soon, and tried to distract him with all the cows and farm life to look at out the window. As we reached the end of the track you were able to get off and look at the wild flowers and surroundings while the train engineer did what he needed to do to turn around...they were very professional in their actions and attire! Noah had passed out before we got to the end, I think all the trains were a bit overwhelming for him. It was so precious though to just hold him in my arms as he slept on my chest, makes me sad to think how big he is growing up, and I really try to cherish those precious moments...
We headed back to the main station and went out to eat our picnic lunch in the grass. The sun had just came out and it was really nice out, Noah woke up from his short little nap and had some lunch and we ran around and played a bit more with the trains, got a fun souvenir and headed home! It was a fun little trip, we thought Noah would be a bit more into the train but maybe we will just stick with the little Nut Tree train for now!
