Girl's Weekend

A couple times a year all my aunts, grandma, mom, and cousins get together for a girl's weekend. We play a card game called Shag-hi and bring lots of yummy food and sit around and drink wine and get caught up on anything and everything. I always look forward to going and seeing everyone and have so much fun playing cards and getting caught up. Well it has been awhile since we have had the chance since there has been some babies thrown in the mix and some other things that have just kept us from getting together. So this weekend we planned to go to my grandma's with the kiddos and have some fun! It was so nice to see everyone, and even though things are a lot different now since I have Noah and I am pregnant and my cousin has her little girl, we still had a great time. It really made me realize how much my life is different with kids and how the things I use to do are going to be forever changed, but I know that it is a good change and having my kids there and around makes it so much better!! Morgan and Noah get along really well and had a lot of fun playing together, my cousin doesn't like to play the card game so she was really good at watching the kids while I got to play! I ate way too much, my aunts are amazing cooks and wish I could say drank too much too but we are waiting until after July for that!! Girl time was just what I needed, looking forward to the next trip!
